 This week I did chapter chat and I did the big Ben tower it was really hard to draw  I had trouble drawing the clock I  wanted it to look amazing and I tried my hardest the hardest part was the clock and the lumps on it those were the hardest parts the easy parts was shaping it  and probably doing the t on the top of it here is a picture . by brianna

Mrs Taaffe  came in to whetu in the morning  and  had a confession to make that she took the dongle and took the chocolates .she said she took the dongle took  the chocolates and she got her blood on the door and got her fingerprints basically everywhere .she came in at  Monday 23 November 2020 at Ngatea primary school in whetu .she was in school that day droping of some paper work that day she also went to the hair dresses and got her hair coloured and washed and she took the chocolates cause she thort yummy.  she turned the alarm of before she went into the class room she said that she took the dongle because she was having trouble Crome casting that is why Mrs Taaffe took the dongle  . by Brianna

 This week in Whetu Pekeapeka  has been doing there fingerprints  with dusting and salatape  but we yous,d corn flour instead of real dusting  stuff we also watched a video of how we kind of did it I did my thumb and we had to rub it in our hair our finger so we can get a better fingerprint here is a picture .

 This term whetu has been solving a crime scene  and  have been getting finger prints and DNA and the other day a police named sally she told as some things about how to solve a crime and she should as some rubbery stuff  and she put it on a coin it dried and looked so cool it finds tool prints and heres a picture doing my own .

 This week  whetu did maths mystery  I did it with jasmine it was so fun it was a bit hard but we got  there in the end   the hadest part was when we had to do the word that are real and not real the easy part was when  we had to get  the highest number of letter's  here is a picture we think it was Hugo. 

This  week  we did  letter of the week  the letter  it was m and i did  McDonald  here is a picture it was hard to find a tongue twister  because there is not many tongue twisters that start with m so I did  my own here is a picture here is a picture .  

 This week  I  did  Te wiki o te Maori challenge  and I did kiakaha  it was so hard    then  I got there   I got a bit of help with mrs m choosing  with choosing my  word  here is a picture . 

  T his week we did maths mystery and I  worked with   Kiarna   it was so hard  but we got there here it is  we had troble doing the up and down things  here is a picture .            

 This week  I choose   this option workshop and      worked with Brooklyn maia shopie  we made sugar crystals   it was so fun on monday we  get to eat the crystals .

 This is my zoo concordats  for this week  it was hard  and easy  at bthe same time here is a photo .

T his week  me and Sophie did escape the hut   it was so hard but we gave it a go  but at the end we got there if we did not get it right  that is ok at least we tried  here is a picture  .

For this weeks option I did Rad  rhythm it was so fun  I  worked with  Sophie jasmine Emily Chrysler and maitearoha  we did  old town road it was so cool at the end we preformed  i in joyed coming up with a song .

 This is my maths mahi for this week i did pirate map coordianits  it was was so fun i learned  lots about  coordianits  and I enjoyed it  I hope we do one of these next week  I liked it here is a picture

This is my inquiry  for this week  it is why should animals be kept in zoo ?  I think they should be kept in zoos because  the  have a safe habitat and that way no one kills the animals and that is my reason why animals should be kept in zoos . 

 This week I chose to join the cooking  workshop option  because  I like to cook and I like to  eat soup . on the first  day we  planed and made shore we all had safety rule locked in our heads  the second day we   brang  the vegetables and cut them up   the third day we  ate it  was so good  the part I liked the most  was  eating it.

This is my maths mahi for this week  it was learning about  enlargement  it was so fun  but a little hard at the end of maths  mahi  we had to get a easy sheet and a hard sheet  the hard sheet was a cat   and the easy sheet  was a heart the heart was soooo easy Im gonna   try to get  a harder one next week.

Cross Country Reflection 2020 This year I participated in the NPS Cross Country held at school on the Ngatea Domain.  I ran in the - 9 year old age group I am most proud of myself for doing it because i've never done it at ngatea . I think my effort towards our training at school could have been better because I always didn't push myself. I showed the Learning Power of Resilience by trying my hardest to  run fast .

this is my whetu  challenge for this week I worked with jasmine Jacob Victoria  and we did  paw patrol and we did not finish in time but it was still OK  it was really hard  to move it with  our fingers because I no  that I have to press hard  and I do not no about the others there was a disagreement but it turned out to be OK any ways here is a picture.  

 This is my chapter chat  for this week   we read the book wink  and the book  is cool the  charters a ross abby  linda the step mum sara kenndy and jimmy  Izac and jerry  I did this because  I did this because  I like drawring  pepole  that is the only thing I  would  do.

This is my 3d shape  for maths for this week  it was so cool because  I got to see the  kind of shapes you can make and I made a cube it was pretty cool   but I had to salatap it instead  because  the glue would not work  here is a picture.

This is my maths mahi for this week I had so much fun doing symmetry and I learnt so much like making the shapes the same which was very hard  the easy part was the multiplication  the division was not easy  I was having so much fun working it out with Mrs m tho. All the multiplication I  new all of them  which is pretty cool from the  awesome tt rock stars I also liked when I went   to the symmetry stage  because there was lots of different ones there was butterfly  hot air balloon castle which looked very hard a king and other ones two  but here is some pictures.    

This is my whetu challenge for this week. Worked with  Jasmine  it did not work because  we only used a sock  but still it was ok the hardest part  was  getting the getting it toghether easist part was tapeing it here is a picture.

Tennis Ball Tower Challenge Today for our Whetu Challenge we worked in a group to build a tower out of newspaper, 2 straws and sellotape. We needed to make our tower strong enough to hold a tennis ball and be able to stand alone (not leaning on anything or needing support). Today I worked with jasmine and   Shane At first we had trouble with at doing it The easiest thing was  stinking  it to the tower The best part of our tower was Our tower looked interesting In the end it didn't turn out that good but we tryed

Week 1 Reflection What has been my highlight this week coming back to school What was I nervous about this week coming back to school For dress-up day I dressed up as Harley Quinn The funniest thing has happened this week is my sisters and brother having duck heads I think the best-dressed person was jasmine

for my milk bottle craft I made a bird feeder and a birdbath it work out good the hardest part was when the hot glue was burning me
